Angela Wright
Hi! I’m Angela, a part time level 2 provider and data collections specialist. My pronouns are she/her, and I’ve completed Youth Mental Health First Aid training within the past year. During the school year, I’m usually available after 3:45 PM on weekdays. I’m also happy to offer telehealth sessions if that feels like a better or more convenient option for you!
What You Can Expect When Working With Me
I graduated from NDSU with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and am preparing to begin my master’s program in social work at ASU. This will be my third clinical experience working with neurodivergent individuals. I also bring hands-on experience from working in a daycare for four years, providing nanny and in-home services, and currently serving as an Interventionist at New York Mills High School.
In the clinic, my goal is always to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each client—their strengths, interests, and unique skills—and I love being their biggest cheerleader. Navigating the world as a neurodivergent individual can be challenging, so I make it a point to celebrate every win, no matter how small. You can expect me to show up to every session with enthusiasm, encouragement, and a deep appreciation for the amazing individual I get to work with.
Who I Work Best With
I tend to click best with clients who enjoy being creative—whether that’s through art, play, or imaginative activities. I can bring a lot of energy into sessions, while also being mindful of slowing things down and giving space when needed. I truly enjoy working with clients of all ages and always approach each individual with an open mind and flexibility.
I’m also able to provide transportation if needed, ideally within a 10-minute driving range, to help make services as accessible and convenient as possible.
A Bit More About Me
I’m a very social person and love spending my weekends traveling to visit friends and family. Being involved in my community is really important to me, whether that’s directing a play, singing in my church choir, or leading a youth group. When I’m doing something just for myself, you’ll usually find me crafting—I love making thoughtful gifts for others or adding creative touches to my home.
I also openly share that I have suspected (but undiagnosed) ADHD. Over the past year, I’ve been learning more about what this means for me and how it shows up in my everyday life. This self-exploration has helped me grow personally and allows me to bring additional understanding, empathy, and curiosity into the work I do with others.
How to Connect
Our office manager is here to help connect you with the right provider. If you’d like to work with me, just ask for me when you reach out about services! I’m excited to meet new clients, answer any questions you have, and get started in a way that feels comfortable and convenient for you!
