Hannah Spencer

Hello, I am Hannah Spencer, and I am a speech language pathologist. I use she/her pronouns and identify as having ADHD. I primarily provide supervision services through teletherapy, which allows me to connect with and support clients in a flexible and accessible way.

What You Can Expect When Working With Me
In my clinical work, I focus on finding communication approaches that truly fit each individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model. I’m passionate about building functional, meaningful communication systems that reflect each person’s strengths, needs, and interests. Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) is a central part of my practice, and I’ve completed a range of continuing education courses in this area to deepen my knowledge and skills.

Who I Work Best With
I especially enjoy working with individuals who find joy in the small, often overlooked details of their environment—things like textures, movement, sounds, and sensory experiences. I love helping clients build communication around these meaningful moments, whether that’s requesting, commenting, or expanding their language in ways that feel natural and engaging. I’m also mindful of sensory environments and recognize that I can become overstimulated in louder settings.

A Bit More About Me
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family—I’m married with three kids, and they’re a big part of my world. I also enjoy thrifting and garage sales, spending time at the lake, and traveling whenever I get the chance. I’m a speech-language pathologist specializing in autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and AAC, and I’m deeply passionate about helping individuals discover and develop communication systems that work for them, especially when verbal language is limited or still emerging.
